Adobe Wave is discontinued - so is Wavediver

Last night I received the information that Adobe Wave is discontinued. Adobe Wave was a desktop notification system based on Flex. I found it pretty nice back then, but it did not succeed. Guess Wave should have opened the chance to build up alternate clients, like messenger or something like that - and then it is too similar how several websites (including mine) are using Twitter.

However, Adobe Wave is dead in the mid of april. And the same goes for Wavediver which is an implementation to connect to Adobe Wave from f. e. WordPress. Rest in peace, Wave.
