Overview
1998 I started my first projects. I began with an very old version of PHP3/4 and sometimes I did even pure HTML projects. But meanwhile I am working with Java, JEE and create EAI concepts. I wrote tons of requirements specification and technical docs. I lead projects through certifications like ISO 9001 and learned how to lead projects for medical devices, strong data privacy needs and so on.
Products 2008 – 2010
Again for AraCom Software GmbH we developed a distribute, spring based system with Java 6. It had Hibernate as DB abstraction layer. We used sever side JavaScript, WebServices, Groovy for some web interfaces, Ajax, Swing for rich client applications and much more. A highly complex project, but all went good. We have testcases for round 70% of our software, met all design criterias and even the highly complex hardware integration went well. Hardware? Yes you heard right! We connected some laserhardware which creates 3D modell out of a human body! Sounds scary? It is!
I was project leader, implemented complex components, made the architecture and finally started to make this product certified as a medical device. It’s still on the go!
E-Commerce 2006/2007
AraCom brought me into this project: JEE and Java 5. An very, very big E-Commerce project with an PHP frontend and a JBoss Cluster as Backend. We used JPA and EJB3 and communicated via our own JSON format. It was a high performance application for high traffic and tons of transactions. I did usual developers stuff, consulting, some architecture, some leading, lots of methods and a connection to MQ Series – again!
Financial Services 2004/2006
At Accenture I worked in a highly complex financial service application. EJB 2.1, Swing Client, Websphere ICS and Bea Weblogic where the components where I had my fingers in. At the end I was responsible for the EAI-Interfaces. Sideeffects of this project was a great time, shell scripting, Sun solaris, first expierence with XSLT and some other stuff. It was a CMMi project and learned lots about QM and how to do it with JUnit, Jemmy, Mercury Quick-Test and such.
Consulting 2004
2004 was very hectic – I was a freelance consultant and did lot of jobs. My first EJB/Swing client app has been established. This was hard! No annotations! Pure XML configuration! Of course I did tons of PHP too.
Media Development 2001/2004
Kirch Media brought me to Java in 2001. A love, neverending story. I developed Servlets and JSP pages on base of Tomcat 3 (!). Struts was In at this time and I put some efford in Java Swing. Thos guys had a really, really heavy framework! It worked, but it also made me nuts to learn it! Great stuff, highly flexible! Cause of this framework I learned tons about SQL.
Consulting 1998/2001
Were i started. I wrote Webapps, E-Commerce Apps and so on in PHP. Some Visual Basic was in there too. Tons of applications, and meanwhile, in Web 2.0 age, no one is online
