I am a experienced programmer who has worked in huge environments and in different roles, including team leading roles. I started in 1998 with PHP and in 2001 with Java/J2EE. Today I am working as a freelance developer and trainer.

As I an Open Source enthusiast I love to work with Open Source Components, esspecially with Apache code. Before a good while I even have offically joined the ASF ranks.

My key technologies are EAI, Struts, Cayenne, Hibernate, Spring, jQuery and so on. I love to explore new stuff, so my stack is growing day by day.

  • 02.2011 – started as a freelance programmer and trainer
  • 08.2008 – 01.2011: worked as a Project Manager on a complex env. with multiple webapps based on Oracle, Delphi, Struts, JMS, Camel etc.
  • 08.2008 – 10.2008: Small government project based on Spring MVC, jQuery, Oracle DB
  • 12.2007 – 04.2009: Medical device project based on Spring, Swing, WebServices, Groovy, JNI and other scary stuff. We integrated a laserscanner for a human body with JNI.
  • 12.2006 – 12.2007: Helped building one of germanys largest online shop based on EJB3, MQSeries and JEE
  • 08.2004 – 11.2006: Financial solution with EAI, EJB2, Swing, Websphere ICS and Bea Weblogic. Highly complex and a huge team.
  • 02.2004 – 07.2004: Some consulting jobs with EJB 2.0 and Swing. Oh, and PHP
  • 09.2001 – 02.2004: Worked for a huge license contractor in germany. Did stuff with JSP, Struts 1 and Tomcat 3 until they become insolvent (what a pity)
  • 01.1998 – 08.2001: Freelancing PHP :-) Shops and everything
  • And yeah, I worked before 1998 – ask me if you have problems with your teeth!
