Overview

I spend lots of time with Open Source. That great idea mean freedom and dynamic without no Software Development is possible today. I am reading lots of code each day and give back to the community with writing some. I prefer non-viral licenses like Apache Software License. In my day work I try to use Open Source whereever possible. Well, sometimes it's not possible. Guess it's enough space left for closed software. However, there are actually some products which I really enjoy. One of it is OS X. Yes, I love my Macs. The other one is Photoshop, from which I ususally buy outdated versions :-)

Meanwhile I am committer to the Commons project an heavily work for the Compress component. I have followed this component for many years now and I am very glad it made it to a proper component.

PIWI XML Transformation Framework

PIWI is an framework for PHP which is based on Apache Forrests and Apache Cocoons idea of XML/XSLT transformation. Meanwhile we added a small dependency injection container. I think, this one will be great at one day. It's hosted at Googlecode at the moment, but it aims to be an Apache Project some day.

JJSON

Wuah! It's small, it's at Googlecode, and it deals with JSON. No dependencies, just plain Java 5. Due to it simiplicity I got many benefits. But it's still in an early state. We'll see how it develops.
